Charming and elegant, George Weldon performs the music from the Great American Songbook.  He is known for his interpretation and song selection from the composers Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Rodgers & Hart and George Gershwin.

A measure of high-society, The ensembles under the direction of George are often requested to perform at affluent residencies for private cocktail receptions, and holiday parties, along with Black Tie events including the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, Philadelphia/Delaware Valley gala, the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition’s Northern Lights of Life, NAAMIC Philadelphia’s Paragon Awards, and various events at the Pyramid Club in Philadelphia, PA.

Today, George performs in Atlanta, GA, New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA. and Washington, DC.  The George Weldon quartet has a regular engagement at the Comcast Center, Philadelphia, PA. and The Garage Restaurant & Cafe’ in New York’s West Village.

George Weldon is a member of the Prince Hall Masonic Lodge #104, Philadelphia , PA.
